Barite: a non-metal mineral; Moh’s grade is 3-4. Widely used in industry. The followings are main applications:
Pigment. Barite is raw material for the lithopone, and lithopone is commonly used in industry as an important white pigment.
Drilling mud weighting agent. It need the size of barite powder up 325mesh.
Mineralizer in cement industry, whiten and strengthen cement.
Micro powder barite can be used as additive in the industry of rubber and plastic. The size of finished powder can be 800mesh.
